They've got a great veggie cheese stakes. I wasn't interested until my coworker suggested it. The ladies are so understanding of dietary restrictions.

This place couldn't get more Philly with the decor, so I know the food is hittin! Walking by and discovering this place on accident was a sweet surprise. My usual order is plain, chicken cheesesteak with cheese only & this was right on. Fresh bread, seasoned chicken sliced well hot with plenty of cheese. Loved it so much came again with my brother & sister, who are now fans too. The ladies working in here couldn't be nicer and more helpful. We ordered to eat in and more to go after we finished to bring home food to the family. Definitely coming back.

A taste of home! This is hands down the best Philly cheesesteak I've had in California. As a Philly native, I can vouch for its authenticity--the bread is soft, the meat is tender and juicy, and the cheese is perfectly balanced. The onions are cooked just right, too. We also tried the pastrami, which was good, but the cheesesteak was only another level. Our server, Ana, was also friendly, definitely a talker. If you stop by, make sure you chat with her.

Finally got to try this place and I've got to say it was pretty darn good. The meat was cooked well and they didn't skimp on the onions or the cheese whiz. It was dripping with delicious cheese with every bite. The staff were very friendly and fast. Didn't take more than a couple minutes to get our food. They've got a good amount of tables inside for people to sit and a self serve soda machine. Lots of interesting decor to look at. Be ready to make a few rounds in the parking lot to find a parking spot as there are a lot of little businesses sharing the space so it can be hard to get a spot when it's busy. Overall a very satisfying lunch.

Super easy to order online and pickup! It frills place, you know exactly what you're getting and it's consistent. The meat to bread ratio is great too! No complaints. They sometimes have a deal where if you order online (for more than $15) for pickup, they'll give you 20% off.

I had less than 24 hours to scramble and find a place to cater my company's meeting, and I ended up going with Philadelphia Sandwich Co. in Miramar. Big risk, big reward, right? Let me tell you, Ana, our caterer, is a sandwich whisperer. She handled our order like a pro, and made sure everything was right, that's what's up. Honestly, her dedication to getting it right might just be why I yelp. The sandwiches? Well, my co-workers said....Oh, they're phenomenal. The Special Cheesesteak with steak or chicken, bell peppers, mushrooms, and cheese? Two thumbs up, like up up up! I didn't even have time to take more pictures, that's how fast they disappeared.

Best Philly cheesesteak in the area. Always made fresh to order and served piping hot. Seating area isn't huge but we've never had an issue finding a table. I always prefer to support small businesses because they care about the quality of food they serve. They also offer some Philly faves like Tasty Cakes!

Yummy in my tummy. This place hit my Philly cheesesteak craving. It reminded me of my trip to Philadelphia eating an original Philly cheesesteak sandwich. We ordered the mushroom steak sandwich and Joe's Special fries. Boy, it no doubt miss. The service was excellent. The person taking our order was friendly and patience. They even bring the food to your table instead of calling out your name. The ambiance is all deck out in Philly sport memorabilia, Rocky poster, and famous Philly places. Overall, if I'm ever in this place of San Diego. I will definitely be back again and again.

After my husband and I visited Sea World, we were hungry for some Philly cheesesteaks! Unfamiliar with San Diego, we looked on Yelp for nearby restaurants. Philadelphia Sandwich was one of the first restaurants to pop up on the search! It wasn't too difficult to get to. We took the major highways and then got off on some local streets. The restaurant is located in a plaza with other businesses. Parking spaces were limited. Philadelphia Sandwich is a locally owned restaurant. The restaurant hours are from Monday - Saturday between 10:00 A.M and 8:00 P.M. As you enter the restaurant, you'll notice all of the Philadelphia jerseys from hockey, football, and even basketball! There is an Iverson #3 Jersey on the wall! There are plenty of tables situated throughout the restaurant. Each table had their own ketchup, salt, pepper, and BBQ sauce! Looking at their menu, the restaurant had a variety of offerings from cheesesteaks, pizza, salad, French fries, and some desserts! We had to get some cheesesteaks, though! [1] Steak Cheesesteak with provolone (Regular size) [1] Mushroom Steak Cheesesteak with cheezwiz (Regular size) Everything was cooked fresh to order! It took approximately 15 minutes to prepare, but it was totally worth the wait! The Steak Cheesesteak was delicious! The beef was juicy and tender. The provolone cheese was perfectly melted on the steak. The best part about the cheesesteak, though, was the bread. The bread was sooo good! The interior was soft, but it was also slightly crisp on the outside. My husband enjoyed the Mushroom Steak Cheesesteak. The French Fries were good. They were shoestring style French fries, perfectly salted. None of the French Fries were salty or overfried. We had an amazing time at Philadelphia Sandwich. There was a local that we spoke to at the restaurant who had been visiting Philadelphia Sandwich for years! Supposedly, this is one of the best Philly cheesesteak restaurants in San Diego! This is a must visit if you're in the area.
